Year-in-review season starts December 1

Give every user their year

The big apps send everyone a year-in-review story each December, and people can’t stop sharing them. Yearcap does it for your app from one CSV.

Mossnote

Hey Ava.

2026

Your year on Mossnote is ready.

Demo data

How it works

From spreadsheet to the most-shared thing your app makes all year

  1. Drop in a CSV

One row per user, one column per stat. Notes written, workouts logged, songs saved, hours focused. Whatever your app counts.

  2. AI writes the story

It picks the stats worth bragging about, writes the words around them, and gives every user a persona. Edit anything.

  3. Send every user their year

One private link per user. Email it, or show a banner in your app. Each story is built from that person’s real numbers.

Your users become your marketing team for a week

Watch

Your user opens their year and taps through their own numbers, persona and best month.

They post the card to their story with one tap. It is made to be shown off.

Their friends tap through to your app, with the sharer’s id attached so you can thank them.

FAQs

What data do I need?

A CSV with one row per user and a column per stat: a user id, maybe a first name, and whatever your app counts. Month columns (jan, feb… or 2026-01) draw a year chart. Export it from your database, analytics or payments tool.

Does the AI see my users’ data?

No. To write the cards, Claude sees your column names and a few number ranges, never a user’s row. Each story is built from that user’s real numbers on our server.

How do my users get their story?

Every user gets a private, unguessable link. Download them all as a CSV and send them with your email tool (most can merge a column into the message), or show a banner in your app.

What does it cost?

Free up to 500 users with the Pop and Paper themes. $49 once for up to 10,000 users and every theme, or $149 for up to 100,000. No subscription: you pay per campaign.

Can I use my own brand?

Yes. Upload your logo and pick your brand colour; every theme builds its colours from it, so no two apps’ stories look alike.

When should I send them?

Early December, before everyone’s feeds fill up with year-in-review posts. Setting up takes about ten minutes, so you can publish whenever your numbers are final.
